The first single off the album “Keep Me Posted” is a cynical and ironically upbeat pop anthem while “Sorry Charlie” is bluesy and lyrical with that underlying cynicism that Lee Anna can’t keep out of her music or her mouth.
There is a lyrical line that appeals to everyone on this album. Lee Anna’s first EP, Words & Actions Fists & Distractions was released back in 2008.
Lee Anna has been writing music since the age of eleven. Over the past 3 years she has appeared on local TV stations in surrounding areas like Alexander City. She has been showcased on ABC’s “Talk of Alabama” multiple times, as well as on NBC. She’s also been featured in publications state-wide including “The Kaleidoscope” “The Phoenix” “The Corner News” “The Black and White” and “The Birmingham Weekly.”
She is also featured in the September issue of “Arts in Alabama”.
Lee Anna has performed at a variety of venues in Birmingham including Above, Starbucks, Zydeco, Rojo, Java and Jams, Gables Square, Wined Down, Samford University, U.A.B, the Nick, Workplay, O’Kafes, etc. and would love to perform at any charity event that she supports.
